Zwei Kinder springen nach Angriff in Kanal in Bad Oeynhausen
Mit einem Sprung in einen Kanal haben sich zwei Kinder in Nordrhein-Westfalen vor einem Angreifer in Sicherheit gebracht. Feuerwehrkräfte konnten die unterkühlten Zwölf- und 13-Jährigen am Donnerstag aus dem Wasser retten, wie die Kreispolizei in Minden am Freitag mitteilte. Der 16-jährige mutmaßliche Angreifer soll die Kinder zuvor geschlagen und mit einem Messer bedroht haben.
Auch ein Handy der Kinder habe der Jugendliche bei dem Angriff in Bad Oeynhausen erbeutet. Die Kinder entzogen sich der Situation mit dem Sprung in den nahen Kokturkanal. Dort bemerkte sie dann eine Passantin, die den Notruf alarmierte.
Die Kinder kamen zur weiteren Behandlung in ein Krankenhaus in Herford. Gegen den 16-Jährigen wurde eine Strafanzeige gefertigt. Er konnte die Wache nach den polizeilichen Maßnahmen wieder verlassen.
