70-Jähriger stirbt bei Zusammenstoß zweier Boote in Nordrhein-Westfalen
Beim Zusammenstoß eines Boots mit einem Schiff auf dem Mittellandkanal in Minden in Nordrhein-Westfalen ist ein 70-Jähriger gestorben. Der Mann konnte nur noch tot aus dem Wasser geborgen werden, wie die örtliche Polizei am Donnerstag mitteilte. Demnach prallte am späten Mittwochvormittag ein Sportboot gegen ein Güterschiff und sank.
Eine 68-Jährige konnte sich vom sinkenden Boot retten und wurde in ein Krankenhaus gebracht. Ihr Mann überlebte den Unfall nicht. Der Mittellandkanal blieb für die Bergung bis in den späten Abend gesperrt. Wie es zu dem Unfall kam, war zunächst unklar.
