Betrugsprozess gegen "Tatort"-Schauspieler Joe Bausch eingestellt
Ein Strafprozess wegen Betrugsverdachts gegen den aus der Fernsehkrimireihe "Tatort" bekannten Schauspieler Joe Bausch ist gegen Auflagen eingestellt worden. Das entschied das Amtsgericht Düsseldorf am Dienstag im Streit um fast 58.000 Euro Mietschulden beim Land Nordrhein-Westfalen, wie eine Sprecherin sagte. Einen Großteil der Schulden habe der 68-Jährige, der mit vollem Namen Hermann Joseph Bausch-Hölterhoff heißt, bereits zurückgezahlt.
Als Anstaltsarzt einer Justizvollzugsanstalt hatte der 68-Jährige wegen eines Bearbeitungsfehlers ab 2012 bis zu seiner Pensionierung im November 2018 kostenlos in seiner Dienstwohnung gelebt, statt dafür monatlich rund 800 Euro zu zahlen. Die Staatsanwaltschaft warf ihm vor, dies entgegen den Vorschriften nicht gemeldet zu haben. Nach Aussage seines Anwalts soll er den Fehler jedoch schlicht nicht bemerkt haben.
Als Teil der Auflagen müsse der 68-Jährige nun einen noch offenen Restbetrag von mehreren tausend Euro zurückzahlen, sagte die Gerichtssprecherin. Zudem soll er eine beim Verwaltungsgericht Arnsberg anhängige Klage wegen einer etwaigen Verjährung dieses Restbetrags zurückziehen. Auf die Rückforderung bisher gezahlter Steuern müsse Bausch ebenfalls verzichten, hieß es.
