Zug kracht in Bingen in Baustellenlore mit Gas- und Sauerstoffflaschen
In Rheinland-Pfalz ist ein Passagierzug in eine mit Gas- und Sauerstoffflaschen beladene Baustellenlore gefahren. Wie die Bundespolizei in Kaiserslautern am Mittwoch mitteilte, kam es bei Kollision kurz vor dem Hauptbahnhof von Bingen am Dienstagabend zu einer Verpuffung. Ein Arbeiter erlitt Verbrennungen an Hand und Gesicht, eine Passagierin aus dem Zug eine Prellung. Die Strecke war mehrere Stunden lang gesperrt.
Laut Bundespolizei war die Lore, auf der sich ein Schweißgerät samt Gas- und Sauerstoffflaschen befand, bei Gleisbauarbeiten versehentlich auf ein nicht gesperrtes Gleis geraten. Grund war eine Weichenverwechslung. Der Baustellenverantwortliche erkannte dies bei der Einfahrt des Zugs und schickte umgehend alle Arbeiter weg. Der Zug mit 30 Reisenden an Bord leitete eine Schnellbremsung ein, konnte einen Zusammenstoß allerdings nicht mehr verhindern.
