Fünf Verletzte durch Austritt von Kohlenmonoxid bei Grillabend
Bei einem Grillabend sind in Nordrhein-Westfalen fünf Menschen durch Kohlenmonoxid verletzt worden. Die Bewohner einer Doppelhaushälfte in Oelde alarmierten am Donnerstagabend wegen Übelkeit den Rettungsdienst, wie die Polizei Warendorf am Freitag berichtete. Der Kohlenmonoxid-Warnmelder der Feuerwehr löste beim Betreten des Hauses sofort Alarm aus, woraufhin das Gebäude umgehend geräumt wurde.
Vier Erwachsene und ein 13-jähriges Kind wurden wegen des Verdachts auf Rauchgasvergiftung in Krankenhäusern behandelt. Als Ursache wurde ein Grill ausgemacht. Der stand zwar im Freien, der Rauch zog aber augenscheinlich durch ein geöffnetes Fenster ins Haus. Das farb- und geruchslose Gas konnte im ganzen Gebäude nachgewiesen werden.
