Thomas Gottschalk: Dieter Bohlen geht mit Scheuklappen durch Fernsehexistenz
Der Moderator Thomas Gottschalk hat seinem Fernsehkollegen Dieter Bohlen vorgeworfen, mit Scheuklappen durchs Showgeschäft zu gehen. "Ich habe nie einen Menschen getroffen, der mit solchen Scheuklappen durch seine Fernsehexistenz geht", sagte der 73-Jährige der Wochenzeitung "Die Zeit" laut Mitteilung vom Mittwoch. "Sobald Drehpause war, ist der ins Auto gesprungen und in eine Berliner Nobelkneipe zum Essen gefahren."
Bohlen war vor allem durch die Castingshow "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" bei RTL erfolgreich. Zeitweilig saßen Gottschalk und Bohlen zusammen in der Jury von "Das Supertalent" - das Verhältnis der beiden Männer galt aber immer als angespannt. Bohlen lasse "nicht zu, dass ein Gag von jemand anderem als von ihm selbst kommt", sagte Gottschalk.
Seinem eigenen Abschied bei "Wetten, dass..?" Ende November sehe er mit gemischten Gefühlen entgegen. Es sei "nicht so, dass das ZDF mir jetzt hinterherläuft und sagt, um Gottes willen, du kannst dich doch noch nicht verabschieden - wenn das passiert wäre, hätte ich vielleicht gesagt, also gut, dann mache ich noch eine Sendung". Wenn jeder im Internet auf Sendung gehen könne, "braucht man keinen Gottschalk mehr".
Diesmal sei es ein Abschied für immer, sagte Gottschalk. Er empfinde auch "eine gewisse Ängstlichkeit", gegen den Zeitgeist zu verstoßen, räumte Gottschalk ein. "Ich gelte ja inzwischen als der Vater des Herrenwitzes, was ich nie sein wollte - seit einer gewissen Zeit werde ich als alter, weißer Mann gesehen, der nichts begriffen hat." Er wolle auch nicht auffällig werden auf seine alten Tage, sagte Gottschalk.
