Der chinesische Starpianist Lang Lang ist durch die Geburt seines Sohns zu einem Frühaufsteher geworden. "Eltern zu sein verändert wirklich alles", sagte der 41-Jährige der Illustrierten "Bunte" laut Vorabmeldung vom Mittwoch. Sein Leben lang sei er eine Nachteule gewesen, fügte er hinzu. Heute nehme er den ersten Flieger, um zwischen den Auftritten zu Hause zu sein.
Weil seine Frau Gina Alice oft unterwegs sei, kümmere sich auch seine Mutter oft um den 2021 geborenen Enkel. "Sie ist so liebevoll mit ihm", sagte der Pianist. Trotz vieler Auftritte habe das Paar das Familienleben gut organisiert. "Nur manchmal muss ich meine Frau bremsen, wenn sie zu erschöpft ist - dann bitte ich sie, mehr auf sich selbst zu achten."
