Komödie mit Léa Seydoux eröffnet Filmfestival von Cannes
Das internationale Filmfestival in Cannes wird in diesem Jahr mit einer französischen Komödie eröffnet. Wie die Organisatoren am Mittwoch mitteilten, starten die Filmfestspiele am 14. Mai mit dem Streifen "Le Deuxième Acte" ("Der Zweite Akt") mit der Französin Léa Seydoux in der Hauptrolle. Das vollständige Programm, einschließlich der Filme, die um die Goldene Palme konkurrieren, wird am 11. April bekanntgegeben.
Das Filmfestival findet vom 14. bis 25. Mai an der französischen Côte d'Azur statt und wird wie in jedem Jahr zahlreiche internationale Stars anziehen. Den Vorsitz der Jury hat Greta Gerwig, Regisseurin des US-Blockbusters "Barbie". Bereits bekannt ist, dass der Actionstreifen "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga", der jüngste Teil der post-apokalyptischen Filmreihe, auf dem Festival seine Weltpremiere feiern wird.
Das Festival wurde in den vergangenen Jahren bereits mehrfach mit einem französischen Film eröffnet. Diese kommen dann zeitgleich in die französischen Kinos. "Le Deuxième Act" ist das neueste Werk von Regisseur Quentin Dupieux und läuft außerhalb des Wettbewerbs.
