Wiesn-Chef: Auch bei Maskenpflicht keine Absage von Oktoberfest
Der Veranstalter des Oktoberfests in München würde notfalls auch eine Maskenpflicht bei dem Volksfest durchsetzen. "Eine Maskenpflicht wäre kein Anlass, das Oktoberfest abzusagen", sagte Wiesn-Chef Clemens Baumgärtner dem Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland laut Meldung vom Donnerstag. Die Kontrolle von Corona-Tests als Voraussetzung für eine Befreiung von der Maskenpflicht hält er dagegen für unrealistisch.
Das Oktoberfest ist das größte Volksfest der Welt, wegen der Corona-Pandemie fiel es in den vergangenen beiden Jahren aus.
Das neue Infektionsschutzgesetz sieht bundeseinheitliche Regeln wie etwa das Tragen von FFP2-Masken im Personenfernverkehr vor. Die Länder können aber eigene Vorgaben machen, etwa für eine Maskenpflicht in öffentlich zugänglichen Innenräumen oder auch im Außenbereich, wenn dort ein Mindestabstand von 1,50 Meter nicht eingehalten werden kann.
"Eine Maskenpflicht auf der Wiesn wäre handhabbar, auch wenn ich sie mir nicht wünsche", sagte Baumgärtner dem RND. Er sehe derzeit aber keinen Grund zu Panik. "Es fällt mir mit Blick auf die heutigen Inzidenzen schwer zu glauben, dass eine Maskenpflicht in Bayern bis zum 1. Oktober eingeführt wird und das Oktoberfest betrifft", sagte er.
