Hollywoodstar Jane Fonda hat ihre seelische Nöte früher mit Beziehungen zu Männern betäubt. "Andere Frauen suchen Trost in Alkohol, in Essen, im Glücksspiel, beim Einkaufen - ich versuchte, diesen in meinen Beziehungen zu Männern zu finden", berichtete die 84-jährige US-Schauspielerin der Zeitschrift "Bunte" laut Vorabmeldung vom Mittwoch.
Dies sei eine Reaktion auf ihre Angst gewesen, nicht perfekt zu sein. "Ich vernachlässigte meine eigenen Bedürfnisse und wollte genau das sein, was sich ein Mann von mir wünschte. Ich glaubte immer, dass der Mann, den ich liebte, besser war als ich", sagte Fonda, die in den 60er Jahren zum Weltstar aufstieg und sich stets auch politisch engagierte. Nach und nach habe sie gelernt, dass dies nicht stimme. Heute mache sie nur noch, worauf sie Lust habe.
