Literaturnobelpreis geht an Französin Annie Ernaux
Der diesjährige Nobelpreis für Literatur geht an die französische Romanautorin Annie Ernaux. Die 82-Jährige werde für "den Mut und den klinischen Scharfblick" geehrt, mit denen sie "die Wurzeln, Entfremdungen und kollektiven Beschränkungen des persönlichen Gedächtnisses bloßlegt", teilte das Nobel-Komitee in Stockholm am Donnerstag mit.
Ernaux gilt als eine der bedeutendsten französischen Schriftstellerinnen der Gegenwart, ihr Werk ist stark autobiografisch geprägt.
Ernaux war schon seit vielen Jahren als Anwärterin auf den Nobelpreis gehandelt worden. Sie hat rund 20 literarische Werke verfasst, ins Deutsche übersetzt wurden unter anderem "Eine Frau", "Die Scham" und "Erinnerung eines Mädchens". In ihrem Werk seziert Ernaux die Erfahrungen von Mädchen und Frauen in der französischen Gesellschaft seit Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs.
Verliehen wird Ernaux der Preis in einer Zeremonie in Stockholm am 10. Dezember. Die Auszeichnung ist mit umgerechnet rund 920.000 Euro dotiert.
