Mehr als eine Million Tonnen Schokoladenprodukte in Deutschland hergestellt
Von der klassischen Tafel bis hin zu Nikoläusen, Pralinen oder Osterhasen: In Deutschland wurden im vergangenen Jahr Schokoladenprodukte mit einem Gesamtgewicht von knapp 1,1 Millionen Tonnen zu Verkaufszwecken erzeugt. Das waren annähernd 13 Kilogramm pro Kopf, teilte das Statistische Bundesamt am Dienstag in Wiesbaden mit.
Rein statistisch entspricht dies den Angaben zufolge in etwa einer Menge von zweieinhalb Tafeln pro Woche je Einwohnerin oder Einwohner. Die Menge der in Deutschland zu Verkaufszwecken produzierten Schokoladenprodukte stieg laut Bundesamt im Vergleich zum Vorjahr 2020 um 3,4 Prozent. Im Vergleich zu 2019 erhöhte sich die hergestellte Menge um 6,4 Prozent.
