Ifo-Umfrage: Stornierungen im Wohnungsbau nehmen zu
Im Wohnungsbau werden laut einer Umfrage des Ifo-Instituts immer mehr Aufträge storniert. Im Februar meldeten 14,3 Prozent der Wohnungsbaubetriebe abgesagte Aufträge, im Januar waren es 13,6 Prozent gewesen, wie das Ifo am Montag mitteilte. Das Neubaugeschäft leide stark unter den deutlich höheren Zinsen und den gestiegenen Baukosten, erklärte Ifo-Forscher Felix Leiss.
Die Auftragsbücher seien im Mittel zwar immer noch gut gefüllt. Etliche Unternehmen klagten aber bereits über einen Auftragsmangel. 23,4 Prozent der Wohnungsbaubetriebe berichteten laut Ifo von zu wenig Aufträgen. Im Januar waren es sogar 25,3 Prozent gewesen. Vor einem Jahr lag die Zahl den Angaben zufolge bei 9,5 Prozent.
6,9 Prozent der Firmen klagten zudem über Finanzierungsschwierigkeiten, verglichen mit 5,5 Prozent im Januar und 3,1 Prozent im Februar 2022. "Im Wohnungsbau geht die Angst um", sagte Leiss. Die Geschäftserwartungen seien auf einen neuen Tiefststand seit Beginn der Erhebung im Jahr 1991 gefallen.
Das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden hatte vergangene Woche gemeldet, dass die Zahl der Baugenehmigungen im Januar weiter stark zurückgegangen war. Schon im vergangenen Jahr waren die Baugenehmigungen auf den tiefsten Stand seit 2018 gefallen.
