Fast 300 Flüge wegen Warnstreik am Berliner Flughafen gestrichen
Wegen eines Warnstreiks des Sicherheitspersonals am Berliner Flughafen BER sind am Montag alle rund 220 geplanten Abflüge und 72 von 240 Ankünften gestrichen worden. Das teilte ein Flughafensprecher mit. Am Dienstag werde der Betrieb wieder weitgehend normal laufen. Zum Warnstreik am Montag von 03.30 Uhr bis Mitternacht hatte die Gewerkschaft Verdi aufgerufen.
Auch am Hamburger Flughafen mussten laut Verdi 31 von 160 geplanten Abflügen wegen eines Streiks abgesagt werden. Hier hatte die Gewerkschaft sehr kurzfristig die Beschäftigten des Abfertigungsunternehmens Aviation Handling Services Hamburg AHS zur Arbeitsniederlegung aufgerufen - sie sind zuständig für Check-in und Boarding bei verschiedenen Fluggesellschaften wie Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines und Brussels Airlines. AHS war demnach am Montag zuständig für 84 Flüge.
Schon in den vergangenen Tagen hatte es Streiks des Sicherheitspersonals an mehreren deutschen Flughäfen gegeben. Verdi will damit erreichen, dass die Arbeitgeber die Zeitzuschläge für Nacht-, Samstags-, Sonntags- und Feiertagsarbeit erhöhen sowie die Überstunden besser entlohnen.
