Verbraucherzentrale: Nur wenig Beere im Erdbeerjoghurt
Im Erdbeerjoghurt steckt oft nur wenig Beere. Bei einer Stichprobe der Verbraucherzentrale Rheinland-Pfalz enthielt ein typischer 150-Gramm-Becher durchschnittlich 15,4 Gramm Frucht, was ungefähr einer Erdbeere entspricht, wie die Verbraucherexperten am Dienstag in Mainz mitteilten.
Weil damit kein ordentlicher Fruchtgeschmack und keine kräftige Farbe zu erzielen ist, wird demnach häufig nachgeholfen. So sorgt Aroma für mehr Geschmack und Saft von Roter Bete für die Farbe. Zudem ist der Fruchtjoghurt nach Angaben der Verbraucherexperten "eine wahre Zuckerbombe". Ein 150-Gramm Becher Joghurt enthalte durchschnittlich 17,3 Gramm Zucker. Das entspreche sechs Würfeln Zucker.
Die Verbraucherzentrale Rheinland-Pfalz prüfte in der Stichprobe insgesamt 24 Erdbeerjoghurts aus Supermärkten und von Discountern. Als zuckerärmere Variante zum gekauften Joghurt empfiehlt die Verbraucherzentrale selbst angerührten Erdbeerjoghurt aus geschnittenen und pürierten Früchten und Naturjoghurt.
