Nachfrage nach Arbeitskräften im August gesunken
Die Nachfrage der deutschen Unternehmen nach Arbeitskräften ist im August gesunken. Der Stellenindex der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) ging verglichen mit Juli um zwei Punkte auf 117 Punkte zurück, wie die Behörde am Mittwoch mitteilte. Er setzte damit seinen Abwärtstrend fort und lag außerdem 17 Punkte unter dem Vorjahreswert. Im Juli war der Index im Monatsvergleich stabil geblieben.
Die gemeldete Arbeitskräftenachfrage sank in der Mehrzahl der Wirtschaftszweige im Jahresvergleich, oft sogar in zweistelliger prozentualer Höhe. Besonders stark fielen die Rückgänge in den Bereichen Information und Kommunikation, im Gastgewerbe, in der Land-, Forstwirtschaft und Fischerei sowie bei der Zeitarbeit aus.
14 Prozent der gemeldeten Stellen gab es im Bereich Unternehmensdienstleistungen und jeweils zwölf Prozent im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe und im Handel. Zehn Prozent kamen laut BA aus dem Gesundheits- und Sozialwesen, sieben Prozent aus der Baubranche und 21 Prozent gingen auf Zeitarbeitsunternehmen zurück.
Der Index ist laut BA der aktuellste Stellenindex in Deutschland und beruht auf den bei der Arbeitsagentur gemeldeten Stellenangeboten. Der saison- und kalenderbereinigte Indikator bildet die Entwicklung der Arbeitskräftenachfrage am ersten Arbeitsmarkt unabhängig von jahreszeitlichen Einflüssen ab und spiegelt die Einstellungsbereitschaft der Unternehmen wider.
