Gaspreise seit Lieferstopp Russlands vor einem Jahr wieder deutlich gesunken
Ein Jahr nach dem Lieferstopp Russlands haben sich die Gaspreise für Haushalte wieder entspannt. "Die Gaspreise haben sich fast halbiert, die Strompreise sind um ein Drittel gesunken", erklärte das Verbrauchsportal Verivox am Donnerstag in Heidelberg. Rekordpreise wie im letzten Jahr seien aktuell nicht zu erwarten.
Der durchschnittliche Gaspreis für Haushalte erreichte im vergangenen September ein Allzeithoch und kostete zeitweise 21,75 Cent pro Kilowattstunde, wie Verivox mitteilte. Durch die Senkung der Mehrwertsteuer auf Gas, den milden Winter und eine "unerwartet guten Versorgungslage mit Erdgas" sanken die Gaspreise im Laufe des Jahres jedoch stetig. Derzeit liegen sie bei 12,18 Cent pro Kilowattstunde.
"Die europäischen Gasspeicher sind aktuell gut gefüllt. Bleibt die Angebotslage stabil, kann das aktuelle Preisniveau wohl auch im kommenden Winter gehalten werden", erwartet Thorsten Storck, Energieexperte bei Verivox.
Einfluss hatte der Gaslieferstopp Russlands im vergangenen Jahr auch auf den Strompreis, der im Oktober mit 54 Cent pro Kilowattstunde seinen Höhepunkt erreichte. Mittlerweile sei der Preis auch hier wieder um 33 Prozent auf aktuell knapp 40 Cent pro Kilowattstunde gesunken, erklärte Verivox.
