Pro Bahn: Zu große Preiserhöhung bei Deutschlandticket "inakzeptabel"
Der Fahrgastverband Pro Bahn hat enttäuscht auf die von Bund und Ländern vereinbarten Eckpunkte zur weiteren Finanzierung des Deutschlandtickets reagiert und vor einer zu großen Preiserhöhung gewarnt. Man könne Preiserhöhungen nun nicht mehr ausschließen, dies "sollte aber in einem vertretbaren Rahmen bleiben", sagte Pro-Bahn-Bundesvorstand Detlef Neuß den Zeitungen der Funke Mediengruppe (Mittwoch).
Einen Preis, der mit den Kosten für ein Abo-Ticket der unteren Preisstufen von Verkehrsverbünden gleichzieht oder diese übersteigt, werden viele Inhaber des Deutschlandtickets nicht akzeptieren und aussteigen. "Eine Preiserhöhung um 20 oder gar 30 Euro im kommenden Jahr halten wir für inakzeptabel", sagte Neuß.
Gleichzeitig forderte er den Bund auf, sich an den steigenden Kosten angemessen zu beteiligen. "Auch wenn der Nahverkehr Sache der Länder ist, so ist der Bund doch Initiator dieses Tickets und darf sich jetzt nicht aus der Verantwortung stehlen", betonte der Fahrgastvertreter.
Bei der Ministerpräsidentenkonferenz am Montag haben sich die Länderchefs auf das Fortbestehen des Deutschlandtickets geeinigt. Umstritten blieb allerdings die Finanzierung. Zudem ist unklar, ob der bisherige Preis von 49 Euro pro Monat bestehen bleibt.
