Gaspreise im zweiten Halbjahr 2023 gesunken - Niveau aber weiter hoch
Die privaten Haushalte in Deutschland haben im zweiten Halbjahr des vergangenen Jahres weniger für Strom und Gas bezahlt als in der ersten Jahreshälfte - die Preise blieben aber weiter auf einem hohen Niveau. Wie das Statistische Bundesamt am Donnerstag mitteilte, kostete die Kilowattstunde Erdgas im Durchschnitt 11,41 Cent. Das waren 6,9 Prozent weniger als im ersten Halbjahr 2023. Verglichen mit der zweiten Jahreshälfte 2022 lagen die Gaspreise allerdings um 22,2 Prozent höher.
Beim Strom zahlten die Kundinnen und Kunden 1,3 Prozent weniger als im ersten Halbjahr 2023, aber knapp ein Fünftel (19,4 Prozent) mehr als im zweiten Halbjahr 2022. Für eine Kilowattstunde Strom zahlten die Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher im Schnitt 41,75 Cent.
Die privaten Haushalte profitierten "langsam von den gesunkenen Großhandelspreisen", erklärten die Statistiker in Wiesbaden weiter. Auch diese sanken im Halbjahresvergleich 2023. Dabei gingen die Preise für Energie und Vertrieb, die bei Erdgas knapp zwei Drittel des Kilowattstundenpreises der Endkunden ausmachen, um 6,7 Prozent zurück.
