Umfrage: Online-Banking ist Standard bei Bankgeschäften
Das Online-Banking ist mittlerweile zum Standard für Bankkundinnen und Kunden geworden. Wie der Bankenverband in Berlin am Donnerstag mitteilte, nutzten 84 Prozent der Befragten Online- oder Mobile-Banking, um wesentliche Bankgeschäfte auf diesem Weg zu erledigen. Auch das Sicherheitsempfinden der Menschen hat sich demnach weiter positiv entwickelt.
Insbesondere in den vergangenen fünf Jahren habe sich der Anteil der Nutzerinnen und Nutzer von Online-Banking deutlich erhöht. 2019 hatte er noch bei 52 Prozent gelegen und seit der letzten Umfrage im Jahr 2022 legte er nochmals um sechs Prozentpunkte zu. Die meisten Menschen tätigten den Angaben nach Überweisungen oder überprüften ihren Kontostand online. Aber auch bei Aktien- und Wertpapiergeschäfte werde auf Digital-Banking zurückgegriffen.
Bei 74 Prozent ist Online-Banking über den PC oder das Handy mittlerweile der Hauptzugang zur Bank. Nur 17 Prozent der Kunden gaben an, dass ihnen der persönliche Weg in die Bank am liebsten ist. Sieben Prozent nutzten vorwiegend Selbstbedienungsgeräte oder andere Dienstleistungen.
Der Umfrage zufolge ist auch das Vertrauen ins Digital Banking weiter gestiegen. Vier von fünf Befragten (81 Prozent) halten es für "sicher" oder "sehr sicher". Das sind drei Prozentpunkte mehr als 2022. Auch bei den noch etwas vorsichtigeren Menschen über 60 Jahren stieg der Anteil auf 73 Prozent an.
