Preise im Großhandel im März weiter gesunken
Im Großhandel sind die Verkaufspreise im März wie in den vergangenen Monaten auch zurückgegangen. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat sanken sie um 3,0 Prozent, wie das Statistische Bundesamt am Dienstag mitteilte. Ausschlaggebend war demnach weiterhin der Preisrückgang bei Mineralölerzeugnissen. Er betrug 3,3 Prozent. Die Entwicklung der Großhandelspreise nimmt die Entwicklung der Verbraucherpreise teils vorweg.
Im Jahresvergleich stark gesunken sind die Preise für Getreide, Rohtabak, Saatgut und Futtermitteln (minus 19,8 Prozent), für Erze, Metalle und Metallhalbzeug (minus 13,6 Prozent) und für chemische Erzeugnisse (minus 13,1 Prozent). Die gegenteilige Entwicklung zeigte sich bei vielen Lebensmitteln und Getränken: Gemüse und Kartoffeln etwa waren im März im Großhandel 4,4 Prozent teurer als vor einem Jahr, Süß- und Backwaren 4,2 Prozent.
Bei der Preisentwicklung im Vergleich zum Vormonat hatte es im Januar erstmals seit Monaten wieder einen leichten Anstieg gegeben, der sich weiter fortsetzte. Gegenüber dem Vormonat Februar stiegen die Großhandelspreise im März um 0,2 Prozent.
