Umsatz im Gastgewerbe im Februar gestiegen - aber noch weit unter Vorkrisenniveau
Die Umsätze von Gaststätten und Hotels in Deutschland sind im Februar leicht gestiegen. Sie kletterten im Vergleich zum Vormonat preisbereinigt um 0,5 Prozent, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Donnerstag mitteilte. Im Vergleich zum Februar 2023 lagen sie aber preisbereinigt 1,1 Prozent niedriger, und im Vergleich zum Februar 2019 vor der Corona-Pandemie 14 Prozent niedriger.
Die Hotels und sonstigen Beherbergungsunternehmen machten im Februar ein Umsatzminus von 1,6 Prozent im Vergleich zum Januar; ihre Umsätze lagen 9,5 Prozent unter dem Vorkrisenniveau.
In der Gastronomie stiegen die Umsätze um 0,6 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vormonat. Sie waren damit immer noch 15,7 Prozent niedriger als im Februar 2019.
