Flugausfälle in Deutschland: 921.000 Passagiere im ersten Quartal betroffen
Die hohe Anzahl an Streiks, schlechtes Wetter und technische Probleme haben in den ersten drei Monaten an den deutschen Flughäfen für viele Ausfälle und Verspätungen gesorgt. Nach Berechnungen des Portals Airhelp waren im ersten Quartal rund 921.000 Passagiere von Flugausfällen betroffen, etwa 222.000 Menschen mehr als im Vorjahr, wie Airhelp am Donnerstag mitteilte. Der Anteil der gestrichenen Flüge stieg demnach von 4,0 auf 5,2 Prozent.
Insgesamt flogen 17,9 Millionen Passagiere von Januar bis März von einem deutschen Flughafen ab. 26,6 Prozent von ihnen starteten verspätet oder gar nicht, wie Airhelp mitteilte. 2023 hatte die Quote noch bei 29,7 Prozent gelegen.
Im europaweiten Vergleich führt Finnland das Negativ-Ranking von Airhelp im ersten Quartal mit 29,9 Prozent an, dahinter folgen Portugal und die Niederlande. Deutschland landet auf Platz vier.
Die pünktlichsten Abflüge bescheinigte Airhelp Kroatien: Lediglich 15 Prozent der Flüge waren dort im ersten Quartal verspätet oder wurden annulliert. Auch in Irland und Österreich war die Quote der Ausfälle und Verspätungen vergleichsweise gering. Europaweit lag der Anteil bei 23 Prozent und damit niedriger als im Vorjahresquartal.
