FDP-Chef Lindner fordert in Koalition "hohes Tempo" bei Gaspreisbremse
FDP-Chef Christian Lindner hat angesichts der Energiekrise ein "hohes Tempo" bei der Einführung einer Gaspreisbremse gefordert. Es müssten jetzt "sehr schnell" außergewöhnliche Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, um Belastungen für Privathaushalte und Unternehmen auszugleichen, sagte Lindner nach einer Sitzung des FDP-Präsidiums am Montag. Die Bundesregierung müsse nun rasch die Finanzierung für die Gaspreisbremse klären, sagte der Bundesfinanzminister. Dies müsse "mit dem ausdrücklichen Bekenntnis zur Schuldenbremse" verbunden werden.
Für die Einführung der Gaspreisbremse seien "erhebliche Mittel" notwendig, sagte Lindner. Er habe bereits "eine ganz präzise Vorstellung" dazu, wie das Vorhaben finanziert werden könnte. Lindner wollte sich dazu aber angesichts laufender Gespräche in der Ampel-Koalition nicht äußern.
Mit Blick auf Vorschläge, ähnlich wie bei den Milliardenmitteln zur Stärkung der Bundeswehr ein Sondervermögen einzurichten, um die Schuldenbremse im Grundgesetz zu umgehen, äußerte sich Lindner zurückhaltend. Damals sei es darum gegangen, langfristige Planungssicherheit für Investitionen in die Streitkräfte zu schaffen. "Wir sind jetzt in einer etwas anderen Situation. Jetzt geht es nicht um langfristige Investitionen, sondern es geht um kurzfristige Intervention" zur Senkung der Gaspreise.
