Nutzhanfanbau in Deutschland hat sich binnen fünf Jahren verdoppelt
Der Anbau von Nutzhanf in Deutschland hat sich binnen fünf Jahren mehr als verdoppelt. In diesem Jahr bauen knapp 900 Betriebe auf fast 7000 Hektar Nutzhanf an, wie die Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE) am Montag mitteilte. Das sei ein neuer Rekord. Nutzhanf wird vor allem angebaut, um Fasern und Hanföl zu gewinnen - nicht zur Verwendung als Rauschmittel oder Medizin.
Nutzhanf darf seit 1996 wieder in Deutschland angebaut werden. Der Gehalt an Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) - der in den Blüten enthaltene psychoaktive Wirkstoff - darf nicht über 0,2 Prozent liegen. Das BLE ist für die Kontrolle zuständig.
