In Bayern fällt am Samstag die Maskenpflicht im ÖPNV
In Bayern entfällt ab Samstag die Maskenpflicht im Öffentlichen Personennahverkehr (ÖPNV). Wie Bayerns Ministerpräsident Markus Söder (CSU) am Dienstag im Anschluss an eine Sitzung seines Kabinetts bei Twitter schrieb, soll stattdessen künftig nur noch eine Empfehlung zum Maskentragen gelten.
Der entsprechende Vorschlag seines Gesundheitsministers Klaus Holetschek (CSU) sei richtig, die Infektionslage sei seit langem stabil, erklärte Söder. Vorbild für Bayern sei hier die Coronapolitik im Nachbarland Österreich: "Wir orientieren uns damit am Beispiel Österreichs", schrieb Söder. Bayern hatte Ende April 2020 eine Maskenpflicht im ÖPNV eingeführt.
Auch in Sachsen-Anhalt könnte Medienberichten zufolge ein Ende der Maskenpflicht bevorstehen. Sollte das dortige Kabinett sich nicht noch kurzfristig auf eine neue Verordnung einigen, würde dort bereits ab Mittwoch die Maskenpflicht im ÖPNV enden und damit vor Bayern.
