Plädoyers in Prozess um Tötung von Tankstellenmitarbeiter wegen Maskenpflicht geplant
Im Prozess um die Tötung eines Tankstellenmitarbeiters im Streit um die Maskenpflicht könnten am Montag (09.00 Uhr) vor dem Landgericht im rheinland-pfälzischen Bad Kreuznach die Plädoyers beginnen. Ein 50-Jähriger ist wegen Mordes angeklagt, weil er den Beschäftigten im September 2021 in Idar-Oberstein erschossen haben soll. Die Tat löste großes Entsetzen aus.
Laut Anklage fühlte sich der Angeklagte durch die Coronaregeln belastet und machte sein Opfer nach einer verbalen Konfrontation beim Einkauf für die Gesamtsituation mitverantwortlich. Demnach verließ er die Tankstelle zunächst, kehrte aber zurück und erschoss den Mitarbeiter. Der 50-Jährige gestand die Vorwürfe und äußerte Bedauern. Der Beginn der Plädoyers wurde im Juli wegen eines Befangenheitsantrags der Verteidigung gegen den psychologischen Gutachter verschoben. Über diesen muss das Gericht noch entscheiden.
