Kanzler Scholz zu Besuch in Chile
Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz (SPD) setzt am Sonntag seine Südamerika-Reise fort. Von Argentinien aus reist Scholz am Nachmittag (Ortszeit) nach Chile weiter, wo er von Präsident Gabriel Boric empfangen wird. Am Montag steht ein deutsch-chilenische Wirtschaftsforum auf dem Programm. Anschließend will Scholz nach Brasília weiterreisen. Brasilien ist die letzte Station seiner viertägigen Reise.
Der Kanzler wird auf seiner ersten Reise als Bundeskanzler nach Lateinamerika von rund einem Dutzend deutschen Unternehmensvertretern begleitet. Ziel der Reise sind auch neue Partnerschaften im Bereich der Lieferung von Rohstoffen und Energieträgern. Damit soll Deutschlands Versorgung etwa bei Seltenen Erden unabhängiger von Ländern wie China gemacht werden.
