CDU-Frist für Parteiaustritt Maaßens läuft Sonntagmittag ab
Am Sonntagmittag läuft die Frist der CDU für einen Parteiaustritt des früheren Verfassungsschutzpräsidenten Hans-Georg Maaßen ab (12.00 Uhr). Das Partei-Präsidium hatte sich am Montag "mit Nachdruck" von Maaßen distanziert. Die Partei-Führung warf ihm dabei vor, immer wieder "die Sprache aus dem Milieu der Antisemiten und Verschwörungsideologen bis hin zu völkischen Ausdrucksweisen" zu gebrauchen.
Wenn Maaßen der Aufforderung zum Parteiaustritt nicht nachkommt, sollen ihm laut Präsidium "mit sofortiger Wirkung" die Mitgliedsrechte entzogen werden. Innerhalb eines Parteiausschlussverfahrens hätte Maaßen dann bis Donnerstag Zeit, schriftlich zu den Vorwürfen Stellung zu nehmen. Maaßen war erst vergangene Woche zum neuen Vorsitzenden der Werteunion gewählt worden. Sie hat nach eigenen Angaben 4000 Mitglieder, von denen 85 Prozent aus CDU und CSU kommen sollen.
