AfD feiert zehnjähriges Bestehen - Proteste angekündigt
Die AfD feiert am Montag (18.00 Uhr) in Königstein im Taunus ihr zehnjähriges Bestehen. Die Partei wurde am 6. Februar 2013 im nahegelegenen Oberursel in Hessen gegründet. Neben den Partei- und Fraktionsvorsitzenden Tino Chrupalla und Alice Weidel soll auch der AfD-Ehrenvorsitzende Alexander Gauland sprechen. Das Bündnis "Aufstehen gegen Rassismus" kündigte an, am Montag am Veranstaltungsort demonstrieren zu wollen.
Die AfD wurde als eurokritische Partei mit wirtschaftsliberalem Profil gegründet, sie entstand aus Protest gegen die Eurorettungspolitik. Im Laufe der Jahre nahm der Einfluss rechtsnational ausgerichteter Kräfte stetig zu, als gemäßigter geltende Vorsitzende zogen sich zurück. 2017 kam die AfD mit 12,6 Prozent erstmals in den Bundestag, beim Wiedereinzug 2021 erreichte sie 10,3 Prozent. Die derzeitigen Umfragewerte liegen bei 14 bis 15 Prozent.
