Macron mahnt vor Misstrauensvotum im Parlament wegen Rentenreform Respekt an
Vor dem Misstrauensvotum im französischen Parlament wegen der umstrittenen Rentenreform hat Präsident Emmanuel Macron einen respektvollen Umgang angemahnt. Macron habe gegenüber den Präsidenten beider Parlamentskammern den Wunsch geäußert, dass die Rentenreform "ihren demokratischen Weg bis zum Ende gehen kann, von allen respektiert", teilte der Elysée-Palast am Sonntagabend mit. Die Regierung werde alles tun, um die von Gegnern der Reform bedrohten Abgeordneten zu "schützen".
Die französische Regierung muss sich am Montag einem Misstrauensvotum im Parlament stellen. Die Nationalversammlung stimmt am Nachmittag (ab 16.00 Uhr) über zwei Anträge der Opposition ab. Die Regierung hatte am Donnerstag einen Verfassungsartikel geltend gemacht, der die Verabschiedung der Rentenreform ohne Abstimmung in der Nationalversammlung ermöglicht, wenn die Regierung anschließend eingebrachte Misstrauensanträge übersteht.
Eine Mehrheit für die beiden Misstrauensanträge gilt als eher unwahrscheinlich, da die konservativen Republikaner voraussichtlich die Regierung unterstützen werden. Sollte keine absolute Mehrheit für einen Misstrauensantrag zustande kommen, ist die Rentenreform endgültig verabschiedet.
Die von Präsident Emmanuel Macron vorangetriebene Reform sieht unter anderem vor, das Renteneintrittsalter schrittweise von 62 auf 64 Jahre zu erhöhen. Das Vorhaben sorgt seit Wochen für Proteste in Frankreich. Die Entscheidung der Regierung, die Reform ohne Abstimmung in der Nationalversammlung durchzusetzen, heizte die Stimmung weiter an.
