Mutmaßliches Mitglied von IS-Hinrichtungseinheit in Essen festgenommen
In Essen ist ein Syrer festgenommen worden, der einer Kampfeinheit der Dschihadistenmiliz Islamischer Staat (IS) angehört haben soll. Die Einheit habe gegnerische Kämpfer und andere Menschen entführt und hingerichtet, teilte die Bundesanwaltschaft am Mittwoch in Karlsruhe mit. Asmael K. soll sich dem IS demnach schon Ende 2013 in Syrien angeschlossen haben.
Er wurde am Montag festgenommen und am Dienstag dem Ermittlungsrichter vorgeführt, der den Vollzug der Untersuchungshaft anordnete. Wie die Bundesanwaltschaft weiter mitteilte, ist K. der Mitgliedschaft in einer terroristischen Vereinigung im Ausland dringend verdächtig.
