Putin räumt erstmals mögliche "negative" Folgen von Sanktionen ein
Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin hat erstmals öffentlich eingeräumt, dass die wegen der Offensive in der Ukraine gegen Moskau erlassenen Sanktionen "negative" Folgen für das Land haben könnten. "Die gegen die russische Wirtschaft verhängten Sanktionen könnten sich mittelfristig wirklich negativ auf sie auswirken", warnte der Staatschef am Mittwoch bei einer im Fernsehen übertragenen Sitzung der Regierung.
Westliche Staaten haben seit Beginn des russischen Militäreinsatzes in der Ukraine vor mehr als einem Jahr beispiellose Sanktionen gegen Moskau verhängt, die sich insbesondere gegen die Öl- und Gasexporte richten. Putin hatte wiederholt gesagt, dass Russland den massiven Strafmaßnahmen standhält.
Der Präsident sagte am Mittwoch auch, dass die Arbeitslosigkeit in Russland "auf einem historischen Tiefstand" bleibe, während die Inflation bis Ende März "unter vier Prozent" sinken dürfte. Sie war im vergangenen Frühjahr stark auf fast 20 Prozent angestiegen.
Putin fügte aber hinzu, dass "die Rückkehr zu einem Wachstumspfad uns nicht entspannt fühlen lassen sollte". "Wir müssen die positiven Entwicklungen in unserer Wirtschaft unterstützen und stärken, ihre Effizienz steigern, technologische, personelle und finanzielle Souveränität sicherstellen", sagte er.
Die Regierung forderte er dazu auf, "schnell und ohne unnötige Bürokratie und Verzögerungen zu handeln". Er appellierte an die Regierung und die Wirtschaft, für einen schnellen Start neuer Projekte im verarbeitenden Gewerbe zu sorgen - "besonders in der Herstellung von High-Tech-Produkten".
