Traditionelle Ostermärsche erreichen am Samstag ihren ersten Höhepunkt
Unter dem Eindruck des russischen Angriffskriegs gegen die Ukraine und des Krieges zwischen Israel und der radikalislamischen Hamas im Gazastreifen finden am Samstag bundesweit zahlreiche große Ostermärsche (ab 10.00 Uhr) statt. Zentrale Demonstrationen sind nach Angaben der Organisationen aus der Friedensbewegung unter anderem in Berlin, München, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Köln und Bremen geplant. Bundesweit soll es insgesamt mehr als 100 Aktionen geben.
Erste zumeist kleinere Veranstaltungen gab es bereits am Donnerstag und Freitag, der Samstag vor Ostern ist aber der traditionelle erste Höhepunkt der jährlichen Ostermärsche. Weitere Demonstrationen sind am Ostermontag geplant. Die Forderungen nach einem Waffenstillstand in der Ukraine sind vielerorts die zentralen Punkte der dezentral organisierten Kundgebungen. Weitere Themen sind etwa der Krieg im Gaza-Streifen und das Thema Abrüstung.
