EU-Gipfel: Beratungen über Nahost und schwächelnde europäische Wirtschaft
Die Staats- und Regierungschefs der Europäischen Union beraten bei ihrem Gipfel ab Mittwoch (18.30 Uhr) über die Folgen des iranischen Angriffs auf Israel. Diskutiert wird etwa eine Ausweitung bisheriger Sanktionen für den Iran. Auf der Tagesordnung stehen zudem die Militärhilfen für die Ukraine und die Beziehungen der EU zur Türkei.
Am zweiten Verhandlungstag stehen am Donnerstag Beratungen über das schwächelnde Wirtschaftswachstum in der EU an. Die Staats- und Regierungschefs beraten über Maßnahmen, die europäische Unternehmen konkurrenzfähig gegenüber den USA und China machen sollen. Dabei geht es unter anderem um den gemeinsamen Finanzmarkt.
