Mehrheit der Deutschen optimistisch für Zukunft der EU - Pessimismus nimmt aber zu
Die Mehrheit der Deutschen sieht die Zukunft der Europäischen Union optimistisch. Laut einer am Mittwoch veröffentlichten Umfrage des Europaparlaments in den Mitgliedsländern hat die Zahl der Pessimisten aber zugenommen. 60 Prozent der Deutschen äußerten sich in der Umfrage von Eurobarometer hinsichtlich der Entwicklung der EU "ziemlich optimistisch" oder "sehr optimistisch". 2020 waren dies noch 72 Prozent.
Auch in den anderen Mitgliedsländern überwiegt der Optimismus - außer in Frankreich: Dort zeigten sich 52 Prozent der Befragten pessimistisch. Am optimistischsten für die Zukunft der EU sind die Menschen in Dänemark, Irland und Litauen.
