Offizielle Feierlichkeiten zu Tag der deutschen Einheit in Erfurt
In Erfurt finden am Montag die offiziellen Feierlichkeiten zum Tag der deutschen Einheit statt. Neben Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier wird auch Bundestagspräsidentin Bärbel Bas (SPD) in der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt erwartet. Nach einem ökumenischen Gottesdienst im Dom (10.00 Uhr) folgt der Festakt im Theater (12.00 Uhr). Dort sprechen Bas und Thüringens Ministerpräsident Bodo Ramelow (Linke), Musikerinnen und Musiker gestalten das Programm. Steinmeier nimmt später an einem Bürgerempfang teil.
In Erfurt wird der 32. Jahrestag der Einheit schon seit Samstag mit einem Bürgerfest gefeiert. Thüringen hat in diesem Jahr den Vorsitz des Bundesrats und richtet deshalb die Einheitsfeierlichkeiten aus. Das Fest ist auch über einen Livestream im Internet zu verfolgen.
