Ukraine sagt sich ergebenden russischen Soldaten Schutz zu
Die Ukraine hat die im Land kämpfenden russischen Soldaten zum Aufgeben aufgerufen und ihnen im Gegenzug Schutz zugesichert. Die Ukraine garantiere "Leben, Sicherheit und Gerechtigkeit für alle, die sofort den Kampf verweigern", sagte Verteidigungsminister Oleksij Resnikow in einem am Freitag veröffentlichten Video in russischer Sprache. "Ihr könnt immer noch Russland vor einer Tragödie und die russische Armee vor Demütigung bewahren."
Die Ukraine werde dafür sorgen, dass die russischen Befehlshaber, die "kriminelle Befehle erteilt" hätten, vor ein Tribunal gestellt werden, sagte Resnikow. "Ihr seid getäuscht und betrogen worden", betonte der Verteidigungsminister. Es sei für die Befehlshaber einfacher, "euch zu erzählen, dass ihr im Kampf gegen imaginäre Nato-Horden heroisch gestorben seid". Zwar lieferten Nato-Länder der Ukraine Waffen, doch seien es "ukrainische Soldaten, die euch mit diesen Waffen schlagen".
Die ukrainische Armee führt seit Wochen Gegenoffensiven im Süden und Osten des Landes und konnte inzwischen große Gebiete aus der Hand der russischen Truppen zurückerobern.
