Kehrer in der Startelf erwartet - Sane trainiert
Bundestrainer Hansi Flick hält sich bei der Auswahl seiner Startelf für das WM-"Endspiel" gegen Spanien bis zuletzt alle Optionen offen. "Ich bin nicht unsicher, aber da schlafe ich noch einmal drüber. Morgen Früh bin ich ein bisschen schlauer", sagte Flick vor dem Duell mit dem Weltmeister von 2010 am Sonntag (20.00 Uhr MEZ/ZDF und MagentaTV) in Al-Khor auf der Pressekonferenz am Samstag.
Fest steht für Flick: "Wir werden eine Mannschaft sehen, die weiß, um was es geht und bereit ist, alles dafür zu tun, dass wir uns die Tür zum Achtelfinale offen lassen."
Es wird erwartet, dass nach dem missglückten Auftritt von Niklas Süle als Rechtsverteidiger beim 1:2 gegen Japan auf dieser Position Thilo Kehrer beginnt. Süle könnte für den formschwachen Nico Schlotterbeck in die Innenverteidigung an die Seite von Abwehrchef Antonio Rüdiger rücken.
Auf die Frage, ob Mittelfeld-Chef Joshua Kimmich nicht im Sinne des Teams rechts hinten aushelfen müsse, sagte Flick: "Warum im Sinne des Teams? Wie sehen Sie ihn als Sechser? Er könnte auch (aushelfen), aber wir haben auch Rechtsverteidiger, die da spielen könnten..."
Möglich wäre ein Dreier-Mittelfeld mit Leon Goretzka als Ergänzung zu Kimmich und Ilkay Gündogan. "Das sind alles drei hervorragende Spieler, die können auch alle drei im Mittelfeld spielen, ohne Frage", sagte Flick.
In der Offensive sind Jonas Hofmann und Niclas Füllkrug erste Alternativen. Bei Leroy Sane (Knie) wollte Flick das Abschlusstraining abwarten. "Erfreulich ist, dass er mittrainieren kann." - Die voraussichtlichen Aufstellungen:
