PK-Auftritt ohne Spieler: FIFA ermittelt gegen Senegal
Der Weltverband FIFA hat Ermittlungen gegen den senegalesischen Fußballverband FSF aufgenommen. Wie die FIFA am Mittwoch bekannt gab, werden potenzielle Verstöße gegen FIFA-Regularien im Vorfeld der WM-Partie gegen Ecuador am Dienstag (2:1) untersucht.
Auf der obligatorischen Pressekonferenz vor dem Spiel war analog zum Auftritt von Bundestrainer Hansi Flick vor dem Spanien-Duell nur Trainer Aliou Cisse erschienen.
Die FIFA schreibt jedoch vor, dass auch ein Spieler bei der Pressekonferenz auftritt. Geregelt wird dies durch die Artikel 44 der WM-Regularien, Artikel 2.7.2 der Medien- und Marketing-Regeln sowie Artikel 8.5.3 des Team-Handbuchs. Gegen den Deutschen Fußball-Bund (DFB) hatte das Disziplinarkomitee für das gleiche Vergehen eine Geldstrafe von 10.000 Schweizer Franken (etwa 10.100 Euro) verhängt und obendrein eine "Verwarnung" ausgesprochen.
Mit dem Sieg über Ecuador qualifizierte sich der Senegal erfolgreich für das Achtelfinale und wird dort am Sonntag (20.00 Uhr) auf England treffen.
