NFL: Raiders verspielen Sieg bei den Rams
Rückschlag für den Stuttgarter Fullback Jakob Johnson von den Las Vegas Raiders in der nordamerikanischen NFL. Trotz einer 13:3-Führung nach drei Vierteln unterlag das Team aus Nevada bei den Los Angeles Rams mit 16:17. Damit ging eine Serie von drei Siegen für die Raiders zu Ende.
Las Vegas hat nun schon acht Niederlage bei fünf Siegen zu Buche stehen, die Chancen auf die Play-offs schwinden immer mehr. Auch der Titelverteidiger aus LA ist schwach in die Saison gestartet und hat bei nunmehr vier Siegen neun Niederlagen verkraften müssen. Aufgrund von Verletzungen war der Titelverteidiger nicht richtig in Fahrt gekommen, es war der schlechteste Start eines Super-Bowl-Champions in der Geschichte.
Der entscheidende Mann aufseiten der Rams war der gerade erst neu verpflichtete Quarterback Baker Mayfield, dem in der Schlussphase zwei entscheidende Passspiele zur Wende im Spiel gelangen.
