NHL: Niederlage für Stützle und Ottawa
Eishockey-Nationalspieler Tim Stützle hat in der nordamerikanischen Profiliga NHL die nächste Pleite kassiert. Der 21-Jährige verlor mit den Ottawa Senators bei den Boston Bruins mit 1:2. Mit nur einem Sieg aus den letzten sieben Spielen liegen die Kanadier im Osten auf Rang elf, können aber noch auf die Play-offs hoffen.
Einen wichtigen Sieg feierten derweil die Seattle Kraken. Ohne Torhüter Philipp Grubauer setzte sich das Team, das derzeit einen Wildcard-Platz innehat, bei den Dallas Stars mit 5:4 nach Verlängerung durch. Der deutsche Goalie, der in der vergangenen Partie krankheitsbedingt ausgewechselt worden war, stand nicht im Aufgebot.
Moritz Seider gewann mit den Detroit Red Wings 3:2 bei den St. Louis Blues nach Penaltyschießen, blieb aber ohne Scorerpunkt.
