Stunden nach der Aufnahme von Klubidol Dirk Nowitzki in die Basketball Hall of Fame verlor das NBA-Team um Nationalspieler Maximilian Kleber bei Miami Heat mit 122:129 und verpasste erneut die Chance, den Rückstand zu verkürzen.
Bei vier ausstehenden Hauptrundenspielen haben die Mavs in der nordamerikanischen Profiliga 37 Siege und 41 Niederlagen auf dem Konto, mehr als eine ausgeglichene Bilanz ist nicht mehr möglich.
