Fußball-Rekordmeister Bayern München ist mit derzeit erreichten 59 Punkten sieben Zähler schlechter als nach dem 28. Spieltag der vergangenen Saison. Der Abonnementchampion war am Samstag über ein 1:1 gegen die TSG Hoffenheim nicht hinausgekommen.
Dagegen hat Verfolger Borussia Dortmund mit 57 dieselbe Punkteausbeute wie nach 28 Runden im vergangenen Jahr. Allerdings reichte es für die Schwarz-Gelben am Samstag beim Abstiegskandidaten VfB Stuttgart trotz einer 2:0- und 3:2-Führung gegen die in Unterzahl spielenden Schwaben am Ende nur zu einem 3:3.
