Das Team um den deutschen Goalie gewann sein Heimspiel gegen die Dallas Stars mit 6:3 und glich in der Best-of-seven-Serie zum 3:3 aus. Die Entscheidung fällt am Montag (Ortszeit) in Dallas.
Der Kanadier Jordan Eberle war mit zwei Toren und einem Assist der Mann des Tages für Seattle, Grubauer überzeugte mit 20 Paraden. Die Kraken lagen schon nach 25 Minuten mit 4:1 in Führung und ließen die Gäste nicht mehr herankommen. "Jetzt kommt Spiel sieben - wer weiß schon, was da passieren wird?", sagte Seattles Stürmer Yanni Gourde.
