Der SC Magdeburg hat trotz Verletzungssorgen seine Chancen auf die erfolgreiche Titelverteidigung in der Handball-Bundesliga gewahrt. Das Team von Trainer Bennet Wiegert gewann am Sonntag das intensive Spitzenspiel beim Tabellenfünften Rhein-Neckar Löwen 37:35 (15:18) und bleibt Rekordmeister THW Kiel auf den Fersen. Der Spitzenreiter hatte am Samstag mit einem 37:30 beim TVB Stuttgart vorgelegt.
