Rummenigge: Dreesen steht für "Paradigmenwechsel" bei Bayern
Aufsichtsrat Karl-Heinz Rummenigge sieht mit dem neuen Vorstandschef Jan-Christian Dreesen eine Zeitenwende beim FC Bayern heraufziehen. Der Vor-Vorgänger des neuen Münchner Bosses sieht es als "Paradigmenwechsel" oder "Tribut an die Neuzeit, dass nun eben kein ehemaliger Spieler an der Spitze steht, sondern ein Finanzfachmann", wie er im kicker sagte: "Dies ist ja in ganz Europa Usus."
Dreesen genießt gleichwohl das vollste Vertrauen von Rummenigge. Nicht nur, weil er "hier zehn Jahre einen hervorragenden Job gemacht" hat als Finanzvorstand, sondern weil er "den FC Bayern kennt". Dreesen sei ein "super Typ", der "das auch super machen wird". Er selbst habe zu ihm "immer ein loyales und vertrauensvolles Verhältnis" gehabt, betonte der 67-Jährige.
Die Zahlen aus seiner Ära als Finanzchef sprächen "ohnehin" für Dreesen, nicht zuletzt wegen dessen Arbeit in der Corona-Zeit. "Als ganz Deutschland und natürlich auch der Fußball unter der Pandemie litt, hat er eine hervorragende Leistung vollbracht, indem er den Klub trotz all der Schwierigkeiten in den schwarzen Zahlen hielt", sagte Rummenigge.
Dreesen (55) hatte im Zuge der Neuformierung der Bayern-Chefetage zum Saisonende Oliver Kahn abgelöst.
