Nach Horrorcrash: Bagnaia darf in Misano starten
Nach seinem Horrorcrash von Barcelona darf MotoGP-Weltmeister Francesco Bagnaia am Wochenende beim Großen Preis von San Marino in Misano an den Start gehen. Die Rennärzte an der Strecke gaben dem Italiener am Donnerstag beim Medizincheck grünes Licht für einen Einsatz bei seinem Heimrennen. Der Ducati-Werksfahrer hatte bereits tags zuvor angekündigt, antreten zu wollen.
In Führung liegend war Bagnaia am vergangenen Sonntag in Spanien gestürzt, der Südafrikaner Brad Binder (KTM) konnte nicht ausweichen und fuhr im Bereich der Oberschenkel und Schienbeine mit seiner Maschine über den WM-Führenden. Der 26-Jährige erlitt mehrere Prellungen, aber keine Brüche.
Bagnaia trug einen langen weißen Strumpf am lädierten rechten Bein und humpelte, als er aus seinem Auto ausstieg. "Wir fahren Rennen", sagte der Motorrad-Pilot in einem Kurzvideo. Am Samstag (15.00 Uhr) findet der Sprint, am Sonntag (14.00/jeweils ServusTV) das Hauptrennen statt. Bagnaia führt das WM-Klassement mit 260 Punkten vor seinem Markenkollegen Jorge Martin (Spanien/210) an.
