Draisaitl baut Torserie bei Oilers-Sieg aus
Deutschlands Eishockey-Star Leon Draisaitl hat seine Torserie ausgebaut und mit den Edmonton Oilers in der NHL wieder in die Erfolgsspur gefunden. Beim 4:3-Sieg nach Verlängerung bei den Winnipeg Jets erzielte Draisaitl das zwischenzeitliche 1:1 (32.) und traf im fünften Spiel nacheinander.
Der gebürtige Kölner steht nun bei 38 Saisontoren. Die Oilers liegen trotz zuvor zwei Niederlagen in Serie als Zweiter der Pacific Division auf Play-off-Kurs.
Kämpfen muss dagegen Moritz Seider, der mit seinen Detroit Red Wings beim direkten Konkurrenten Washington Capitals ein 3:4 nach Verlängerung hinnehmen musste. Lukas Reichel gelang mit den Chicago Blackhawks ein 3:1 gegen die Calgary Flames, die Play-offs sind für Reichel und Co. jedoch außer Reichweite. Das gilt auch für Nico Sturm und die San Jose Sharks, die 3:6 gegen die Dallas Stars unterlagen.
Als erstes NHL-Team lösten derweil die New York Rangers durch ein 6:5 nach Verlängerung gegen die Philadelphia Flyers das Ticket für die Meisterrunde.
