"Unsere Kurve" lobt Bayer - "Geschmäckle" wegen 50+1-Ausnahme
Die Fan-Organisation "Unsere Kurve" begrüßt das wahrscheinliche Ende der Bayern-Dominanz in der Fußball-Bundesliga, übt aber auch Kritik am designierten Meister Bayer Leverkusen. Es sei "absolut positiv", dass Borussia Dortmund im Vorjahr und nun die Werkself "zumindest für eine Saison mithalten konnten", sagte Sprecher Thomas Kessen dem SID. "Weitere Jahrzehnte Serienmeisterschaft" des Rekordchampions seien "nicht gut" für den Wettbewerb.
Dazu würdigte Kessen die Leistung der Leverkusener, die an diesem Wochenende die Meisterschaft perfekt machen können. Das Team habe "mit sportlichem Geschick eine fabelhafte Saison hingelegt", sagte er. Aufgrund der "entsprechenden finanziellen Voraussetzungen, die in Leverkusen durch die 50+1-Ausnahme strukturell andere sind - insbesondere im Nachgang der Pandemie - als bei anderen Vereinen", werde im Falle des Titelgewinns für neutrale Fans aber "sicherlich ein Geschmäckle bleiben".
Die mögliche Meisterschaft bleibe dazu "nicht mehr als ein historisch einmaliger Ausrutscher", kritisierte Kessen. Fans wünschten sich "eine spannende und ausgeglichene" Liga. Die Tabelle werde jedoch "erneut ein Abbild davon sein, wie kaputt inzwischen der Wettbewerb in der Bundesliga ist".
Der Fan-Vertreter fordert, dass die Verteilung der TV-Gelder unter Berücksichtigung der Erlöse aus dem internationalen Geschäft "wettbewerbsgerecht gestaltet werden". Und: "Die Ausnahmen von der 50+1-Regel - wozu auch Leipzig gehört - gehören abgeschafft", sagte Kessen.
